Stephanie is a therapeutically endorsed clinical optometrist assisting in the shared care of patients suffering from chronic eye conditions including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and dry eye. She graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Medical Science (Vision Science) and a Master of Optometry in 2018, moving to Port Augusta to work in an independent optometry practice. Throughout her time there she provided primary ocular care to almost the entire northern region of South Australia. She gained extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye diseases while working closely with local health care providers and visiting ophthalmologists.
Since moving back to Adelaide, Stephanie divides her time working in private ophthalmology clinics with a range of special interests and building her research experience in telehealth and myopia control. She continues to dedicate time to providing eye clinics to disadvantaged communities and shaping optometry’s future on the Board of Optometry Victoria/South Australia.
